Hydrotherapy is the use of a warm water pool for which exercise therapy techniques are performed. The warm water and buoyancy it creates is a great medium to promote the use of joints which may have been limited due to pain or to encourage movement where certain medical conditions may limits or prevents normal function.
Hydrotherapy has been used predominantly by Physiotherapist and Occupation Therapist, however as the industry grows Exercise Physiologists are now recognized in this field.

Note: an initial assessment is required before commencing a group class to assess current capacities and develop your program.
Our hydrotherapy sessions are currently conducted at the Logan West Aquatic and Fitness Centre and are by appointment only.
Alternate arrangements can be made pending prior approval from your preferred pool.
Our practitioners can also utilise your own swimming pool if you have one.
The use of hydrotherapy can be use in conjunction with land based programs. Our practitioners will provide you with a comprehensive program specific to your needs and conditions.
